FreshMap® combines two technologies: laser perforation of packaging film and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP).
By regulating the gases naturally present in packaging, such as ozone, carbon dioxide, argon and oxygen, it is possible to slow down the ripening process and extend the shelf life of fresh produce, letting them stay fresher for longer.
