THAT LAST LONGER
FreshMap® combines two technologies: laser perforation of packaging film and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP).
By regulating the gases naturally present in packaging, such as ozone, carbon dioxide, argon and oxygen, it is possible to slow down the ripening process and extend the shelf life of fresh produce, letting them stay fresher for longer.
This is a huge step in the fight against food waste while also improving production and distribution efficiency.
CHECKMATE AGAINST FOOD WASTE
HELPS SAVE FOOD
Modified atmosphere packaging extends the shelf life of fresh produce up to 5 times more than standard packaging.
The dimension and distance between perforations can easily be regulated depending on the product and packaging size.
FreshMap® technology can be used for many different kinds of fruits and vegetables.
FreshMap® is a high-precision method that helps preserve the quality, appearance, and organoleptic properties of packaged food. Thanks to laser micro-perforations and the regulation of gases, products maintain their color, taste, and nutritional content for longer. Produce is fresher and more appealing (and healthier), benefitting consumers, producers, and distributors.
