Alongside Piccoli Punti
We support the prevention, education, and research promoted by the non-profit Piccoli Punti, a local association committed to the fight against melanoma for years. Melanoma is the most aggressive form of skin cancer. It is the most prevalent form in men and the second-most prevalent in women under 50 years old: in the last 15 years, the number of cases has practically doubled; in Italy alone, more than 14,000 new cases are registered each year.
Piccoli Punti Onlus
Established in 2006, the Piccoli Punti association works to make melanoma increasingly treatable and develops projects for prevention and sensitization within the Veneto region. Their goal is also to inform people of the risk factors of melanoma, promoting large-scale research and education activities for early diagnosis of the disease. In recent years, thanks to the greater attention paid to this issue, the increase in early diagnosis and non-invasive diagnostic techniques, the survival rate five years after diagnosis has improved continuously.
