We’ve always worked with packaging for fruits and vegetables. We started out using tissue paper, which was a common trend until the 1960s. Later, we moved to plastic, which made its debut in the world of packaging after establishing itself in fashion and design; in short, after having revolutionized our habits and the objects that surround us.
In just over a decade, we’ve gone from being a small, local company oriented almost entirely toward the Italian market to being on the European stage at the forefront in the production of increasingly advanced, high-performing packaging.
From film to packaging in pure cellulose,all of our products are recyclable or compostable. Our plastic packaging uses the smallest amount of material possible with an excellent ratio between packaging and product for a significant reduction in CO2 emissions in transport and storage.
Our commitment to the environment is also reflected in our plant: we optimize natural light for illumination and green energy for heating (recovering it from our machinery) and powering out systems (thanks to self-powered regenerative motors).
We support the prevention, education, and research initiatives promoted by the non-profit organization Piccoli Punti, a local association that has been actively committed to the fight against melanoma for many years. Melanoma is the most aggressive form of skin cancer and represents the most prevalent type in men and the second most common in women under 50 years old. Over the past 15 years, the number of cases has nearly doubled, with more than 14,000 new diagnoses registered every year in Italy alone.
Alongside this commitment, we strongly believe in giving back to the community in which we operate. For this reason, we actively support local sports activities and sponsor social and community events within our territory. These initiatives reflect our desire to promote well-being, inclusion, and shared values, strengthening the social fabric around us.
